Graphic Design

A Thing of Beauty

We have some very talented artists on our team. Whatever your graphic needs are, print or web, our graphic artists will create a work of art for you.

Our artists have a vast amount of experience and have been distinguished in their fields.

Rod Karmenzind grew up in the Midwest and graduated from NIU, where he attended on a full scholarship for his art talent.

Though he spent his first ten years out of college as an editorial illustrator, Rod migrated to working in design and photography. This background as an artist can be seen in his work and his approach to his layouts, often going places that designers fear to tread. He has art directed numerous publications, and currently designs delight!, a publication that reached a circulation of 2.9 million readers in 2009.

His work has been recognized nationally by Folio in 2009, winning a gold and bronze Ozzie for best use of digital illustration (both which he illustrated) and also by numerous awards by the Evangelical Press Association for design, photo feature, illustration, and overall magazine design. He has been featured in Adobe Layers magazine as well.

When not making magazines, websites, annual reports or trade show booth designs, Rod can be found spending time with his wife of 23 years and two kids and their two frisbee dogs. He also enjoys volunteering at church, the local food pantry and spends some time in the gym lifting competitively.
